ISO or ASA
is also known as light sensitivity or sensitivity of the camera sensor to
light. So basically ISO in photography, the higher the ISO, the more sensitive
the camera's sensor to light. ISO at the time of using SLR Camera "Film
Cameras", we often see the word ISO is the "film camera" that we
want to buy.
If we want
to take pictures at night or low light, we will always buy "Film
Cameras" with the high ISO as ISO 400/640/800 in stores pictures. But now
the days are getting more sophisticated world of photography, where the
evolution of digital camera / DSLR ISO settings make it easier we make what we
want.
We no longer
need to purchase or use "Film Cameras" if we want to take a picture.
We can set the ISO what we want before we started taking pictures at that time
also.
We also have
to be careful with high ISO values. ISO with NOISE always been like brothers
and sisters. But not always there NOISE in the picture, the picture will be of
poor quality. It is up to the situation and also the photographer who took the
pictures.
It should be
noted also, not necessarily at night we can not use the ISO with low value. For
example take a picture of "Water Fountain" at night. We can use ISO
100 to make us beautiful and clear picture. Other tips to make us beautiful and
clear picture, we should have Tripod and Remote Control so that we do not look
blurry picture.
Practise
Makes Perfect. Good Luck.
